Special Programs

SPIC MACAY : The Nationwide Voluntary movement for the promotion of Indian classical music and culture among youth perform the folk arts of Rajasthan in our School. The resplendent presentation helped the students experience the inspiration and mysticism in Indian heritage.

BHAJAN SANDHYA : Bhajan Sandhya was celebrated on 24-11-2018 to mark th ongoing auspicious mandala season dedicated to Lord Ayyappa. The bhajan group students and staff rendered many songs that included many Ayyappa bhajans. The beautifully decorated miniature model of Sabarimala temple with the 18 holy steps created a sylvan atmosphere exuding divine vibes. The programme was attended by students as well as parents. 'Harivarasanam' the lullaby song of Ayyappa brought the Bhajan Sandhya to a conclusion. Prasad was distributed to all.

VISHNUSAHASRANAMAM : The sacred chants of Sree Vishnusahasranamam creates an aura of positive vibrations when the whole school participates in it during the prayer sessions on Thursdays.

ASTROKIDS WORKSHOP : An Astrokids Workshop was conducted on 28th October 2018 in the school conference hall for students from Grade V to IX. The resource person was Sarvesh Bharadwaj, Astro-physicist, SDRO.

NANHI CHAAN : In the Nanhi Chaan national school contests 2018, our students participated in competitions which aimed at generating an understanding of the issues of inverse gender ratio, depleting tree cover and other burning environmental issues.

VANMAHOTSAV : Vanmahotsav was a weeklong celebration which was inaugurated with the planting of a sapling by Rev. Fr. Joseph Thomas, the Principal of Mont Fort school. The students staged a skit on the historical Chipko movement.

WELL BEING OUT OF WASTE : Under the national recycling initiative launched by the ITC Ltd a special project WOW was initiated in this school. Students brought scrap papers, plastic etc. for recycling.

SCIENCE EXHIBITION : Science Exhibition was conducted on 26th February 2019. Dr. Vineetha S, Post doctoral Fellow Dept of Marine Biology and Biochemistry, CUSAT, was the chief guest of the day.

ANNADANAM : Every Tuesday, the students bring a handful of rice to donate to the needy people. Students segregate the rice into two categories , later it is delivered in packets to the needy people(tribals - Attapady)

FLOOD RELIEF OUREACH PROGRAMMES : The students and staff of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala extended their arms to the hapless flood victims in the recent deluge and disaster. A team of students and teachers of the social service club collected varied goods stretching from medicines to imperishable food including funds. The same was donated to the organisation "Anbodu Kochi" at the collection centre RSC. Relief materials were also distributed to relief camps in Chengannor, Chinmaya Warriam road campus, St. Antony's Church  Vaduthala and St. Alberts College , Ernakulam.

BAKE SALE : It was conducted by classes VI to VIII. The money collected from the same was given for Philanthropic activities.
