INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY & WORLD MUSIC DAY

Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vaduthala celebrated International Yoga day and World Music day on 21/06/2022 in a grand manner in the school auditorium. A brilliant, melodious medley of Malayalam songs was presented by the music students as the first item. This was followed by a timely divine yoga presentation by the yoga students of the Vidyalaya.
The chief guests for the day were the General Secretary of Indian Yoga Association, Sri Rajgopal Krishnan and Ms Agrima Nair, a doctor in Molecular Neuroscience at Sri Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology. Students were motivated through their speeches by the chief guests who spoke about the relevance of yoga for humanity.
Ms Agrima Nair, a professional cyclist is on a mission called “Yoga on Wheels” and intends to cycle up to Ladakh. Ms Prathiba V, Principal of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala flagged off the start of this expedition. Students and staff of the school wished Dr Agrima all success who embarked on her journey from the school around 8:30 a.m.
