The 43rd Annual Sports Meet of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthalawas held with great enthusiasm and sportsman spirit on the 12th of November 2025 in the school premises.
The Chief Guest for the day was Ms. Libas P. Bava, Gold Medalist in the Asian Powerlifting Championship 2019 and Weightlifting. The function was presided over by Shri A. Gopalakrishnan, Chief Sevak, Chinmaya Mission Educational & Cultural Trust – GC, Kochi. The Principal, Smt. Prathiba V, welcomed the gathering.
The programme began with a prayer followed by the lighting of the lamp and hoisting of the school flag by the Chief Guest. The march past by the students showcased discipline and coordination. Ms. Libas P. Bava delivered the inaugural address and formally declared the meet open. The lighting of the Olympic torch and oath-taking ceremony by the Sports Captain added grandeur to the event. A PT display by the students added colour and energy to the programme. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Sports Vice Captain.
Various track and field events were conducted on 14th and 15th of November 2025. Students participated with great zeal, demonstrating the true spirit of sportsmanship. The event successfully promoted teamwork, perseverance, and healthy competition among students. The Vindhya House won the Overall winner trophy and the Runners up trophy was bagged by the Satpura House. Individual champions for various categories were also awarded.
